Giftlo is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information (provided by you)
  Name, Email address, Date of Birth (to send birthday reminders), Profile photo, Gender (optional)
• App Usage Data
  Wishlist items, friends/connections, service requests and reminders
• Device & Technical Data
  Device type and operating system
• Purchases and Subscriptions
  Transaction records (processed securely via Apple’s In-App Purchase). We never see or store full payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core app features (personalized products, wishlists, birthday reminders, connections)
• Send notifications (e.g., birthday reminders, subscription updates)
• Improve performance and user experience
• Provide customer support
• Process and manage subscriptions
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only:

• With trusted service providers (cloud storage, notifications)
• With Apple Inc. for payment and subscription processing (see Apple’s Privacy Policy)
• When required by law
• With your explicit consent

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Personal data is kept only while your account is active.
• Account deletion removes your data within 7 business days (except where required by law).
• Subscription receipts are retained up to 90 days for refunds/compliance.

You can delete your account anytime inside the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing hello@giftlo.app with subject “Account Deletion – Giftlo”.

5. Children’s Privacy

Giftlo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure storage. Payments are handled exclusively by Apple’s secure systems.
